Especially for service and support as well as in development it is a permanent dilemma: you have to be available for variously customers and must report your efforts simultaneously and exactly for accounting.
Capturing efforts afterwards will get estimated inaccurate or incomplete results. In summary no good base for effort controlling and accounting.
To resist we designed a special method of reporting:
Via TrackTimesheet the Go-user will be accessed to the web app user interface .
By entering a short job description a new task will be started. The time is running – you will see the green walking “Ampelmann”. Simply click on the “Ampelmann”-symbol to stop the task or continue. You can interrupt the timekeeping as often as you like.
For recurring tasks favorites can be defined.
After completing the timekeeping data you have to assign the project and task. Optional data can be added - e.g. kind of work – and the report transferred to Microsoft Project Server 2010 via TrackTimesheet. The project manager just have to approve the report. The actual effort will be transferred immediately to Microsoft Project Server and be displayed in Microsoft Project.
Optional TrackTimesheet and module TrackTimesheet Go can be connected to third party systems e.g. SAP CATS, CO.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information and specifications of TrackTimesheet and additional modules.
